A few words...

During my four years at Park High School, I’ve become very involved in many different ways. All four years I participated on the girl’s volleyball team and was captain my senior year. My freshman year I was part of HOSA and my junior year I became a member of FBLA. I continued to be a member of FBLA on through my senior year and was voted President of the club. I also was hired at SC Johnson through Co-op. My academic achievement allowed me to be a member of NHS. I was involved in Student Government most of my years at Park High School. Freshman year I was voted Secretary and senior year I helped put together Mr. Park, the senior slide show, and worked with Miller’s Flowers and the Rotary Club to organize Post Prom 2007.

A few words...

I am a strong and athletic individual who has aspirations of attending college in the fall of this coming year. I pride myself on my work ethic and determination to be the best and give 100% effort into every aspect of my life.

I am very proud of my academic accomplishments. I am currently ranked 3rd in my class of 560. My unweighted GPA is 3.945 and my weighted GPA is 4.407. My junior year I received the Outstanding Junior Science Student of the Year Award. I am listed as an AP Scholar and was nominated to The National Society of High School Scholars. I am a member of National Honor Society and have been a part of Student Government.

Some of my most significant athletic accomplishments occurred on the baseball diamond and the football field. For both baseball and football, I was named team captain and was selected to the 2nd Team and Honorable-Mention on the All-Conference and All County teams. For football, I won numerous awards, but the one I was the most proud of was being named the Most Inspirational player because it displayed my leadership abilities on and off the field. I am equally proud of receiving the Team Academic Award for attaining the team’s highest GPA. For baseball, I also won numerous awards, but winning the “Take Control” Leadership Award was most satisfying for me.

I will be attending Valparaiso University. I want to earn a degree as a Physician Assistant or continue on to medical school and become a doctor specializing in sports medicine. I also intend to play college baseball, and I harbor every true athlete’s dream to play professionally.
